Saschka Unseld studied film and animation at the Animation Institute in Germany. After graduation, he co-founded Studio So, where he produced and directed animated shorts and commercials. In 2008 Unseld joined Pixar Animation Studios where, before directing THE BLUE UMBRELLA, he worked as camera and staging artist on TOY STORY 3, CARS 2 and BRAVE.
