As Vice President, Group Director, Brand Content for Digitas, Eric leads the development of original and partnered digital brand content entertainment offerings across Digitas clients serviced out of Boston, Chicago and Detroit. Working in partnership with creative, media and client relationship leaders, Eric is responsible for leading content strategy development and content creator partnerships that are borne out of insights and drive business results. His clients include Bank of America, Sprint, Harley-Davidson, Liberty Mutual, Lenovo, GMC, Buick, Goodyear, Miller Lite, Kitchen Aid, Tide and others.
Eric is an Emmy winning television and commercial media veteran with over 25 years of experience. He was formerly chief operating officer of Scout Productions, creators and producers of Emmy winning Queer Eye for the Straight Guy and other episodic TV series for Lifetime, CBS, VH1, ABC Family, MTV, Logo, etc. At Scout, he oversaw everything from development slate to international sales and licensing, network relationships and branded entertainment. He also partnered with Scout and the Boston Red Sox in developing an Emmy winning dating series that taped during Boston Red Sox games at Fenway Park.
Prior to Scout, as a TV Commercial Executive Producer, he worked with Oscar winners Errol Morris, Robert Richardson and Hank Corwin on projects across the globe for ad agencies from Saatchi, Leo Burnett, BBDO and Ogilvy to Draft, GSD&M and Martin. He has produced countless commercials and music videos, as well as TV series, documentaries and feature films.
Eric has a BS in Film from Boston University, an MBA from Boston University and an MPA from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
As Vice President of Business Development for Getty Images, Peter Orlowsky is responsible for evaluating and building key business strategies and partnerships, and for identifying and developing new business opportunities. In this position, he drives global content licensing and distribution deals with leading technology, multimedia and service providers worldwide as well as the growth of Connect by Getty Images, an innovative content distribution service that allows customers and business partners to integrate Getty Images’ core functionality and robust content and metadata directly within their publishing tools, products and services through use of the company’s powerful and flexible API.
Daniel Bornstein is currently the Vice President of Global Advertising Sales for deviantART. As a top ten social network by traffic, deviantART has over 65 million monthly unique users and over 2.5 billion monthly page views. In addition, deviantART is also the globe's largest community for artists, writers, and photographers. Daniel is responsible for direct advertising initiatives globally and currently works with some of the largest brands in the world to help them yield the highest levels of audience engagement.
Prior to deviantART, Daniel worked at Google Inc. for five years where he held posts in both the US and Europe. In his last position he managed the new business development team for the UK & Ireland. Daniel has also been involved within the realm of e-commerce and start-ups. Daniel is currently an IAB ambassador for Southern California.
Daniel holds a BA (honors) from the Interdisciplinary Center and a Masters degree (MSc) in Economics (honors) from the London School of Economics. In his spare time he enjoys the year-round outdoor activities available in Southern California as well as creative writing.
