With the increase and development of mobile technology and digital platforms allowing anyone with a smart phone the ability to point, shoot and share - filmmaking is at the most accessible point it's ever been. Content can be captured, edited and shared within moments. This panel will discuss the best ways to use your smart phone as a filmmaking tool and the best practices to share and distribute content as an amateur or professional filmmaker.

Peter is an Actor, Director, Producer, Teacher, Film and TV Composer, Agent and Co Founder with Tony Myers of the iPhone/Smartphone Pop Up Film Festival and is proud that their Pop Up Festival inspires creative people to "Get On and Do It" and find, promote and showcase talent and creative people with all levels of Experience, Training and Backgrounds.
Through Peter's Ferris Entertainment Masterclasses in London, Belfast, Cardiff and now launching in LA Peter has directed and produced over 30 films and series in the last 2 years with the last 9 being shot on various smartphones.
Peter has a close affinity with Texas having headlined in 2001 at the 4th July open air concert in Lubbock to 120,000 people with the Beatles Band performing as George Harrison.
For 27 years Peter's life has been blessed with mentors and being able to mentor many people who went on to major success including actors such as Russell Brand.

I co-directed and co-wrote the 1st full length feature film shot entirely on a cell phone. Its called OLIVE and stars Gena Rowlands with 5 original songs by Dolly Parton.
I created the #1 most viewed non partisan video to get the youth of America to vote in the presidential election. The video received 5.1 million views on YOUTUBE and ended up in the museum of Radio and Television in NYC.

Co-writer/director of Olive the movie. Patrick also acted as director of photography and editor on the feature. Building a one of a kind camera system, Patrick combined a Nokia N8 cellphone with a DIY 35mm lens adapter to accommodate professional photography lenses, in order to achieve a truly cinematic look.
