Interactive Design: Intro to User Centered Design

This book examines the user-centered design process from the perspective of the design student and design professional. It introduces the different UX players, outlines the user-centered design process from user research to user testing, and explains through various examples how user centered design has been integrated into the design process of a variety of different design studios, worldwide.
Collaboration is essential to create useful, usable, compelling and successful interactive experiences. Designers, technologists, strategists, and user experience professionals must work together to create websites, mobile apps, kiosks, voice interfaces, and many other user experiences. User-centered design--designing for real people--is a powerful tool to add to any designers toolbox.
