Brooklyn-bred recording artist Josh Baze shot to Hip-Hop stardom overnight with smooth cadences and lyrical genius comparative to Rap royalty Jay-Z and Kanye West.

The Entertainment Weekly proclaimed Hova 2.0 released his debut album Hi-Heels & Low-Lifes in March 2012. Crediting Biggie Smalls and his dad, a DJ, as his main musical influences, the album flirts with the boundaries of music, pulling inspiration from Hip-Hop, Electronic and Rock genres.

Signed to Cartel Records, Baze emerged in 2011 with his debut single "We Made It." Legendary producer Hype Williams signed on to shoot the award-winning music video, which premiered as iTunes Video of the Week and made its broadcast debut on BET’s 106 & Park, E! News and MTV.

Jimmy Kimmel Live, Last Call with Carson Daly and The Wendy Williams Show welcomed Baze with open arms as he made his promotional talk show rounds in March 2012.

Current single "She's Gold" was named iHeart Radio's "Music You Should Know" in July 2012 and broke into the Top 100 in the Urban and Top 40 radio genres. The single continues to steadily climbs the Sirius Xm Hits 1 radio charts sitting in the #20 spot as of December 10, 2012.

Shortly after CAA signed on to become his booking and touring agency, Baze secured a spot on Ludacris’ college tour in early spring. He continued to tour throughout Fall 2012 as direct support to Childish Gambino on his 2012 ‘Camp’ tour as well as an opener on 2 Chainz's B.O.A.T.S Tour.
