Steven Scharf's 44 years in the recording industry has covered areas of record producing, A&R, music publishing, and management. Richard Stumpf Pres Imagem Music

Richard Stumpf is the President of Imagem Music, US (IMU), the world's leading independent music publisher. Since taking the helm of Imagem Music in late 2010, the US roster has grown considerably and includes hip-hop sensations Ludacris and MIA, the legendary Sammy Cahn, Elvis Presley and Rodgers & Hammerstein catalogues, world renowned writer/producers John Shanks and Steve Robson, multi-platinum singer/songwriter Anna Nalick, cutting edge bands The Temper Trap, Wakey! Wakey!, and The Jezebels, and many other talented clients.

Prior to coming to Imagem, Richard was the SVP of Creative Services and Marketing for Cherry Lane Music Publishing (Black Eyed Peas, John Legend, Quincy Jones, John Denver, Elvis Presley, Ashford & Simpson). Richard oversaw writer signings and content acquisitions. He also managed business development strategy, including the implementation of strategic joint ventures (NFL, Electronic Arts, NASCAR) . He oversaw the Marketing team, who were responsible for identifying and negotiating song placement opportunities for film & television, advertisements, records, and new media outlets.

Before joining Cherry Lane in 2001, Richard held management positions with numerous entertainment-related companies including EMI - Capitol Records, new media pioneer, MCY Music, PC Artist Management, and Musicland. Creatively, Richard also has experience as a live sound engineer and performing musician.

Throughout his career he has worked with artists such as Ozzy Osbourne, The Black Eyed Peas, John Legend, Quincy Jones, Wolfmother, The Who, Sammy Hagar, John Denver, NSYNC, Willie Nelson and others.

Richard sits on Boards for National Music Publishers Association, American Association of Independent Music, Association of Independent Music Publishers, and The Recording Academy, for which he is a voting member.

Assisting students and children has remained a personal mission for Richard. He funds a scholarship for his alma mater, North Rockland High School, in the name of Eleanor and John Murphy that awards a music proficient student who plans to pursue music creatively or in a business manner upon graduation. He also founded and produces "StumpFest," an annual music festival that supports various children's charities.

Richard attended Binghamton University where he studied Marketing. He continued his education to receive his master's degree in Marketing from Pace University.

Amy pitches songs for film and TV; organizes showcases for TV networks, music supervisors, and advertisers; develops new writers; arranges co-writing sessions; coordinates writing camps and scouts for talent. Amy has secured sync placements on Castle, Body of Proof, Grey’s Anatomy, Arbitrage, Pretty Little Liars, Being Human, Life Unexpected, Flashpoint, Degrassi: The Next Generation, Sunkist, TD Canada Trust, Canadian Tire among many others. In 2012 Red Brick Songs, a sister company of Casablanca Media, was launched. Amy is also the Director of Sync & Creative Services for this roster which includes US bands ON AN ON and Field Mouse as well as Canadian bands Library Voices and Cuff The Duke.

Alisa Coleman has been with ABKCO Music & Records for over twenty-five years. She is in the unique position of overseeing business development and global licensing of the companies music publishing, record and film catalog for all media. As executive in charge of soundtracks, Alisa develops business relationships with entertainment companies to manufacture and distribute physical and digital soundtrack releases worldwide.

ABKCO's catalog includes all THE ROLLING STONES compositions and master
recordings prior to 1971 including “(I CAN’T GET NO) SATISFACTION" and "JUMPIN’ JACK FLASH". ABKCO also owns all of the compositions and controls the recordings of the late great SAM COOKE ("YOU SEND ME", "HAVING A PARTY"), as well as BOBBY WOMACK's compositions which include "BREEZIN'". ABKCO also owns recordings and compositions by THE KINKS, THE ANIMALS (recordings), and MARIANNE FAITHFULL.

Its soundtrack division has released recordings from the critically acclaimed Wes Anderson films - the Oscar Nominated score by Alexandre Desplat of Fantastic Mr. Fox, the soundtrack to Darjeeling Ltd, and the #1 hit on Billboard Classical charts, Moonrise Kingdom, the Edgar Wright heralded film Scott Pilgrim vs. the World with music by BECK and NIGEL GODRICH, the Justin Lin franchise hit soundtrack Fast Five, the Paul Rudd comedy Our Idiot Brother, the television soundtrack to Californication and many others.

As Executive in Charge of Soundtracks, Alisa worked with iTunes to develop the first special episodic segment soundtrack release in an “uberpage” environment, where the soundtrack of the high acclaimed Showtime series Californication (starring David Duchovny) would be released as three segments during the run of the season culminating in a full soundtrack release.

As part of the new media initiative at ABKCO, Alisa has spearheaded the licensing and specialization of cross promotional opportunities of ABKCO’s compositions and recordings in various video games as well as other merchandise including greeting cards and lyric only products such as tee shirts and jewelry.

Among the acclaimed commercials negotiated by Alisa is the Sony Bravia campaign which utilizes THE ROLLING STONES recording of “SHE’S A RAINBOW”. The commercial received Gold Awards from both Cannes Lion and Clio in 2008 and an innovative synchronization/crossbranding campaign which revitalized the catalog Rolling Stones composition “I’M FREE” by having the original Rolling Stones recording remixed by several notables such as MOBY, FATBOY SLIM, POSTAL SERVICE, HOT CHIP and DJ SHADOW for a series of commercials and other advertising opportunities with Chase Bank’s new Freedom Card. Other commercials include THE ROLLING STONES “SHE SAID YEAH” for Chanel Bleu directed by Martin Scorsese, “MAMA SAID” Nissan Commercial, “YOU SEND ME” for Estee Lauder’s Beautiful campaign and recently a comprehensive European campaign for Dior using “SYMPATHY FOR THE DEVIL” and “PAINT IT BLACK” as well as SAM COOKE’S “GOOD TIMES” for Nike and the superbowl spot for H&M featuring David Beckham and THE ANIMALS “DON’T LET ME BE MISUNDERSTOOD”.

She has been instrumental in the negotiation and completion of many of the companies largest synchronization deals including: “2000 LIGHT YEARS FROM HOME” in Men In Black III, “GIMME SHELTER” in Robert Zemeckis’s film Flight, various songs in the David Chase bio-pic, “LET’S TWIST AGAIN” and “The WAH-WATUSI” in The Help, “GIMME SHELTER” for celebrated Call of Duty – Black Ops trailer, American Idol’s Rolling Stones night, “GIMME SHELTER” in The Departed; “SYMPATHY FOR THE DEVIL” in Tropic Thunder, “YOU CAN’T ALWAYS GET WHAT YOU WANT-REMIX” in 21; “STREET FIGHTING MAN” in Michael Moore’s film Sicko, as well as several KINKS and a ROLLING STONES recording in the Wes Anderson film The Darjeeling Ltd. Her efforts have expanded the licensing of ABKCO compositions and masters onto almost every major and cable network television series including: Glee, CSI, Criminal Minds, American Idol, The Voice, X-Factor, and the Simpsons.

If that wasn't enough, Alisa is an accomplished art director and in 2006 was named one of the twenty people to watch by Graphic Design Magazine. She has art directed of over thirty releases including all of THE ROLLING STONES "Remastered Series" CD's and the Grammy Winning DVD - "Sam Cooke Legend". Her work in this area has been recognized by the Clio Awards, New York Art Directors Club and the AIGA amongst others. Alisa has won the "Graphic Design USA Award of Excellence" for THE ROLLING STONES "Sympathy for the Devil Remix" lenticular package and the recent “Get Yer Ya-Ya’s Out Box Set” and the InStep Design Award for Volumes 1 and 2 of “The Rolling Stones Singles box”.

A former graduate from The Hartt School of Music/University of Hartford, Alisa began her career at The Harry Fox Agency co-directing the synchronization licensing department while interacting with music publishers and production companies to negotiate music rights. She is currently a board member of the Association of Independent Music Publishers in New York, a publishing board member of A2IM, a member of NARAS, AIGA and CMA She is a frequent speaker at industry events including Billboard conferences and universities.

Sam Kling VP Film &TV & A&R Peermusic

I joined peermusic in 2007 as VP of A&R bringing with me a 15-year history of an entrepreneurial approach to the music industry. With extensive synchronization experience, I was promoted to VP of A&R and Film & Television in 2008. I am responsible for overseeing all synchronization licensing activities as well the discovering and developing of new talent for peermusic.

The five years since coming to Peer have been very special and I've had the good fortune to work with wonderful songwriters including Ester Dean, Dan James, Traci Hale, Richard Harris, Tricky Stewart, David Foster, Tyrese Gibson, Dead Sara, Family of the Year, and many others. Their songs have been recorded by some of the biggest artists and sold millions of singles and albums. They've been nominated for and won Grammys and PRO awards. One song even won a Soul Train Award.

The ride has been truly amazing.

Prior to Peer, I was at BMG Music Publishing, FirstCom Music and before that, my own management and production company, Madgroove. I hold hold an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and completed my undergraduate work at The American University in Washington, DC and The New School for Social Research in New York City.

At pigFACTORY, Adam has helped build a music catalog totaling close to a quarter of a million titles including songs by The Turtles, Fatboy Slim, Iggy Pop, Dead Kennedys, Demi Lovato, Def Lepperd, Gemma Ray, Tesla, Black Flag and Jordan Sparks. pigFACTORY established itself as an international publishing administration company by affiliating with a large number of the world’s copyright royalty societies to collect publishing royalties ‘at source’ without the need for subpublishers.

Adam’s extensive connections with the film, TV, videogame, advertising, and brands have landed him synchs in projects ranging from thousands of films and TV shows and brands including SKYY Vodka, Chevy, E-Trade, Travelers Insurance, and many others.
