#sxsw #lawyered

Iap716

Lawyers from Foursquare, Meetup and Etsy explore the legal and business challenges facing tech companies and provide insights on how growing tech companies can navigate legal issues.

Along the way, they will reveal:

• The things we wish we knew about our company before we left our cushy law firm job and joined a start-up

• How we balance helping our members with protecting our business

• How we keep the product, sales, and business development people from hating us

• What will be the most challenging legal issue that tech companies will face in 2013.

• The most embarrassing professional experience we have had since joining our company

• The mistakes they made so that you don’t do the same thing
