Ghost Da King/AAU All-Stars
"The pulse of the group. The heart of the situation." J-O (on Ghost)
Sensible. Universal language speaker. The connector and protector. A peace seeker and war advocate when peace fails believer. Kinda like the United Nations. Young Ghost, simply from the Westside of Chicago, songs speak up lyrics where larger numbers want to say what he says, how his says it and rap it on stage the way he raps it on stage.
They want to be him, fancy his skills, have respect on their team the way his team respects him. But take away the audience filled with both sexes lip syncing and to his very own micro team, his voice is simply that of reason.
Writing creatively since the age of 8, with the heart and spirit of his loved ones both present and passed, carried through the verses of his lyrics, Ghost is preparing himself for that full album project. With the winning mixtape in his trophy case, King of Zamunda, complete with Chicago and Rosetta, this first born son, is anxious to do more. Adding to a respectable catalog of songs, Young Ghost has been featured on the nationally distributed 'Welcome to the IMAC' mixtape hosted by nationally recognized, DJ Sean Mac and recently opened up for both Nikki Minaj and Plies.
Exuding his confidence as a leader, and understanding he is only as good as his followers, its his team, which contributes and is instrumental to his overall record and ultimate outcome.
