Silent Diane is a electronic duo forged out of Christine Aprile and Malcolm Elijah's angular and warped pop sensibilities. The group uses analog synthesizers, electro acoustic elements, moody movements, pulsing drum machines, and sultry and soulful female vocals from Christine Aprile to achieve a wide variety sounds. Influences are drawn from multiple genres and eras including minimal synth, chicago
house, electro-exotica film scores, kraut rock, new age compositions, disco, and drone. The group is set to tour with Neon Indian this spring and their first full length LP is due out this summer.
