Twilite is a Polish band formed in 2006. Best description of their music would be singer-songwriter, but there's two of them, sometimes three, sometimes four. The core of the band is always the same: two acoustic guitars, two vocals, beautiful songs and haunting melodies. They've released 2 albums: 'Bits & Pieces' (Electric Eye Records, 2009) and 'Quiet Giant' (Isound Labels/Ampersand Records, 2011) and EP called 'Else' (Isound Labels/Ampersand Records, 2010).
Twilite's sound attracts with just about right amount of melancholy, unique sensitivity and elusive smooth aura. On the other hand, they often surprise with sudden explosions of noisy, dissonant sounds (as far as acoustic guitars let them).
Twilite shared the stage with artists such as Jose Gonzalez, The Twilight Singers and The Whitest Boy Alive. Their latest, critically acclaimed longplay 'Quiet Giant' is widely considered as one of the main challengers for the title of Polish Album of the Year. Twilite was invited to perform at the biggest European festivals: Open'er Festival in Gdynia and OFF Festival in Katowice. 'Quiet Giant' is already available on iTunes.
