Touring Beyond The Borders
Take a look at every aspect of international touring, from bringing international artists into the US to touring domestic artists internationally. What are the obstacles and problems with visas, immigration and tax laws? Where is it dangerous? What is possible? Most importantly, what is lucrative?
During the past thirty years, I have been an agent (ICM), manager (the Canadian band Powder Blues and the Jamaican group The Wailers Band) and an immigration specialist. I have worked with most booking agencies, as well as major record companies and independent labels to allow their foreign artists to temporarily work in the United States.
