In the iCloud Era Who Can You Trust to Find Music?
As we continue to make deeper moves toward an entirely digital music future, finding the music that you love is not as simple as tuning to a radio station. Digital curators have emerged to share their expertise via blog post, playlist, tweet, and status update. Who's doing a good job of picking today's hits? Are today's tribes of listeners more aware and sophisticated? Who is reaching the most people?

Elliot Aronow is the host/producer/publisher of OUR SHOW with Elliot Aronow and the Creative Director + Co-Founder of RCRD LBL. He is also a VJ/curator for ISH PICKS, a daily music discovery program on Youtube's new original content channel MY ISH.
On the style front, he writes a weekly "Dapper Don with Elliot Aronow" column for Playboy.com and was recently the subject of a feature in Fast Company.
Before all that he helped launched Gnarls Barkley, edited at the FADER and consulted for clients including MTV, Spin and Def Jam. He looks handsome in a bespoke suit and yes, you can touch his hair.
Peter Gaston is the Special Projects Director at SPIN, working on branded content, artist relations, and creative services for the company’s marketing department. Peter has been with SPIN since 2003, having previously served as editor of SPIN.com and Interactive Director. A product of (Don’t Go Back to) Rockville, Maryland, and a grad of Hamilton College, Peter DJs around NYC and Brooklyn, although no longer under his old-school alias, “The Husky Gentleman.” Without the music biz, Peter would probably be happiest hosting his own culinary travel show.
