Alex is a founder and managing director of 137 Ventures, a growth-stage private technology company investment firm. He is also chairman of ImmunePath, which has developed the technology to manufacture blood cells from embryonic stem cell lines. Previously, he was an entrepreneur-‐in-‐residence at Founders Fund, where he focused on deep science investing. Prior to that he created and launched HappStack, todays leading open source Haskell application server. Alex is a serial entrepreneur with multiple successful exits including Shop.com and PowerSet.
