Jesse Sublett Author/Musician Jesse Sublett

Jesse Sublett is an author, musician, journalist, blogger and artist. His Austin-based crime novels (starting with Rock Critic Murders, published in 1989) introduced a noir-laced vision of the Austin music scene to the world. His band, The Skunks, formed in 1978, shook the foundations of the Austin music scene. The band was inducted into the Austin Music Hall of Fame in 2008. Currently Jesse is developing ePub editions of his new and previously published book titles as ePub works, including products developed for the Apple iPad. The first of these is ROCK CRITIC MURDERS, THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY IPAD EDITION, scheduled to be released in the iTunes store by February 6, 2012. Previously released titles, now available for Kindle and other e-Readers via Amazon include a more basic ePub edition of Rock Critic Murders and a novella, Moral Hazard, with more titles forthcoming. Jesse is most excited about his next project for the iPad, GRAVEDIGGER BLUES 13, a collection of crime fiction, murder ballads and pulp art, which is tentatively scheduled for a March 5, 2012 release to iTunes.
Jesse will be performing around the time of SXSW as a solo act.
