Based on actual events, this film takes you on the journey of a teenage girl trying to escape her abusive mother and in the process finds herself joining the forgotten “street kids” living in the shadows of Portland. Her search for belonging spirals from unforeseen consequences to a gripping end depicting the plight of today’s at risk youth.

Director Bio
After appearing in several Indies and the MTV series "Undressed", York Shackleton made his directorial debut with "Las Paraditas", a feature documentary exposing the violence and corruption that surrounds the prostitutes of Tijuana. York also wrote and directed the critically acclaimed film, "Kush".
