Gear Alley
New for 2011, SXSW brings you Speed Sets- short, down and dirty shows by official showcasing bands. Each day Gear Alley Expo will feature six bands, specially selected by a curating entity. The bands will share the latest and hottest gear made by our exhibiting manufacturers, and play for ten minutes each. Speed Sets are an exciting way to see several bands play in one place, as well as meet our presenting partners. Oh yeah, did we mention drink tickets?
