Musical performances are a staple of late night talk shows. Show bookers will discuss how they find and book bands. Advice will be offered on how musicians can better their odds in the process, and how bands and shows work together once confirmed to make the most of their shot.

After booking music guests for the entire run of NBC's Late Night with Conan O'Brien, JIM PITT moved with Conan to The Tonight Show and now books Conan on TBS. Jim has also booked Saturday Night Live, VH1 s Hard Rock Live, among many other series and specials and executive produced two albums: Live From 6A and This Is Where I Belong: The Songs of Ray Davies & The Kinks.
NICK STERN is a manager at Vector Management and also runs the PR Company 7-10 Music. Prior to starting 7-10 and joining Vector he spent 6 years in the publicity department of Atlantic Records. His clients include Kid Rock, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, The Black Angels, Everest, Phosphorescent, Circa Survive and The Virgins.

Kate Jackson is the Director of Marketing & Publicity for Sub Pop Records. She has worked with bands such as Fleet Foxes, Wolf Parade, Flight of the Conchords, Blitzen Trapper, Beach House and more.

SCOTT IGOE is the music talent booker and segment producer at Jimmy Kimmel Live, airing weeknights @ 12:05 am on ABC. Scott began his career in the music industry over 10 years ago working directly with Jimmy Iovine in A&R and Product Management. While working at Interscope, Scott signed the Black Eyed Peas and worked on their 1998 debut album, “Behind The Front”. Upon leaving Interscope in 1999, Scott joined the ranks of the Internet explosion in San Francisco as Director of Music Marketing, contributing writer, designer and new music consultant for Rouze Media; an e-commerce web destination targeted at men 18-34. In 2000, Scott was hired as VP of Marketing & A&R at Chris Blackwell’s multi media company, Palm Pictures. Working with such acts as Elwood, Logan 7 & Mad Capsule Markets, along with the international licensing of ZERO 7.

JONATHAN COHEN is the music booker for NBC's "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon." Previously, he spent nearly 10 years as a writer and editor at Billboard.
