The National Parks Project (NPP) is a collaborative film and music project featuring 52 of Canada’s most acclaimed artists. Over Summer 2010, groups of musicians and filmmakers traveled to national parks across Canada, to spend five days making short films and soundtracks inspired by the landscape. This special event will showcase five of the short films produced for the project (see director’s bio for program). Following the screenings, musicians who participated in the NPP will perform a program of original music composed and recorded during the shoots, accompanied by live mixed visuals selected by VJ Ryan Noth.
