In web years, Ze Frank is a grizzled pioneer in online play spaces. Since 2001, when he released the early viral phenomena “How To Dance Properly” (http://www.zefrank.com/invite/swfs/index2.html), Ze has been creating content that encourages people to laugh, create, play, and collaborate. Ze is a frequent speaker at the annual TED conferences and two videos which outline his philosophy on media participation can be found at TED.com. Rob is currently heading digital and interactive content production and strategy for the English Program at the National Film Board of Canada. His work has been awarded dozens of major international and national honours including the 2010 Webby Award for Best Online Documentary program and the 2010 SXSW Award for best web site in the Activism category . Prior to joining the NFB, Rob was a Director, Digital Programming at Canadian Broadcasting Corporation responsible for creative and business development around documentary, network radio and arts and entertainment programs. He was also was Executive Producer of CBC's acclaimed online radio and multimedia service, CBC Radio 3.
