Michael Lambert

Michael J. Lambert is an attorney in the Intellectual Property Litigation Group in Haynes and Boone, LLP’s Austin office. He focuses on media, entertainment, intellectual property, and First Amendment litigation. Recognized by Best Lawyers as “Ones to Watch” (2023, 2024), Michael has represented a wide range of clients in state and federal trial and appellate courts. He counsels clients on defamation, copyright, internet, and social media law. Before joining Haynes and Boone, Michael worked for Prince Lobel Tye LLP, NBCUniversal, the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press, and Harvard Law School’s Berkman Klein Center. He also served as a judicial law clerk for Judge Steven Wellner of the D.C. Superior Court.
