Haylie McCleney has played professional softball with Athletes Unlimited since its inception in 2020 and has been a member of Team USA since 2013. She helped the United States win a Silver medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, earning a spot on the WBSC All-Olympic Team. She led the team with a .529 batting average with a triple and four runs scored, hit safely in five of her six appearances, including a three-hit performance against Canada, and led Team USA to Gold medals at the 2016 and 2018 WBSC Women's World Championships. In Athletes Unlimited, she has been a three-time member of the AU Pro Softball All Defensive Team, and earned her first top-ten finish in the 2023 AUX Pro Softball season. McCleney played college softball for Alabama from 2013 to 2016, earning Second Team and three First Team All-SEC honors. She was also named a Second Team and three First Team All-American from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
