Melissa 'Aunty Liss' James

Born and raised in the southern suburbs of Sydney, Melissa’s journey with music began at the age of 8, learning to play the piano. She continued to play and study music and performance throughout her school years, and at age 15 she discovered drums. At 17 Melissa found herself drumming in a band, playing the pub scene of Newtown, Sydney.
