Brandi Szczesny

Brandi Szczesny is a seasoned Procurement Coordinator with a wealth of experience, currently serving in the United States Army, within the Department of Defense. As a key player in Project Linchpin, she excels in orchestrating strategic procurement initiatives that contribute to the mission success of one of the nation’s most critical defense projects. With the speed of rapid development in the AI space, there is a need to develop a very agile acquisition strategy enabled by a rapid contracting approach that allows for maximum participation by industry. With the diverse and rapidly changing industrial base, and rapid evolution of technologies in this space, it emphasizes the need for our approach to be flexible and adaptable.

Ms. Szczesny started her career supporting PEO IEW&S, during which time she guided critical efforts in support of Army Modernization. Ms. Szczesny brings a unique blend of expertise, leadership and dedication in developing agile military procurement practices. As a key player in Project Linchpin, Ms. Szczesny leveraged innovative procurement vehicles and continuous industry engagement to communicate technology evolution, leading to shaping modernization efforts within the Army’s Signals Intelligence Portfolios.
