At Sunderland David oversees fan growth, engagement, and brand value, while managing commercial opportunities in retail, corporate partnerships, and hospitality. Former Chief Marketing Officer of Major League Soccer (MLS), Bruce spearheaded the development of the League brand, establishing the platform "Our Soccer," accelerating its growth. He guided Club brand development and orchestrated marketing initiatives for the MLS x Apple global TV broadcast deal, implemented innovative fan acquisition such as the first Times Square 3D football billboard, and the successful launch of Messi in North America. Prior to MLS, Bruce worked as a Senior Consultant for Wolff Olins, leading brand consultation for the London 2012 Olympics and assisting in the launch of its Middle East office in Dubai.
