WEconnect Health Management

Murphy Jensen is a former French Open Doubles Champion with brother Luke and the
co-founder and EVP of WEconnect Health. This Seattle-based healthcare tech company
provides support & services through a mobile application to people suffering from mental health
disorders and substance use disorder.
Building and serving WEconnect has been his life's most impactful and essential work as a
person in long-term recovery since 2006.
Surviving a Sudden Cardiac Arrest in Oct 2021, Murphy was saved by an on-site AED & CPR.
Murphy is now a spokesman for the American Heart Association and a partner in the
Gootter-Jensen Foundation. The continued recovery from his cardiac event and the traumatic
brain injury he suffered when he collapsed has added a new layer to Murphy's advocacy for
mental health awareness.
Before founding WEconnect, Murphy served as Coach of the Washington Kastles of World
Team Tennis, where he coached tennis superstars Serena and Venus Williams, Martina Hingis,
Nick Kirigos, Victoria Azarenka, Frances Tiafoe, and many more. Winning 6 Championships in
7 years, Murphy led the Kastles to a 34-match winning streak, the longest in professional sports
history.
Having Survived Sudden Cardiac Arrest and Mental Health Challenges and Substance Use
Disorder, His message is simple: “You don’t have to reach rock bottom to win at life and
have a life worth living. These issues are treatable and preventable”.
