Steve Savage

Steve Savage has been involved with agricultural technologies for more than 40 years. After a B.S. in biology at Stanford, he pursued an M.S. and Ph.D in Plant Pathology (study of the diseases of plants) at the University of California, Davis, working on grape diseases. Since then, he’s worked in academics at Colorado State University, Fungicide discovery at DuPont, biological control at Mycogen and as an independent consultant since 1996 working on a variety of projects involving many crops and geographies and a wide range of technologies. Steve started blogging in 2009 and was given contributor status with Forbes in 2019.
