Lucia Mirabella

Dr. Lucia Mirabella leads the Design and Simulation Systems group at Siemens Technology, where she worked since 2014, with research responsibilities. She received her Ph.D. in Mathematical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, Italy, and worked as a researcher at Emory University and Georgia Institute of Technology. In Siemens, she has been focusing on modeling and simulation of additive manufacturing process and automatic investigation of design options for optimized performance using a combination of physics-based and data-driven approaches, at the component and system level.
