Cal Davidson

With a background in equity markets and financial services and having built a career in the big banks in Sydney and Melbourne, Cal and family relocated to the Gold Coast for the lifestyle and entrepreneurial opportunities. Cal leads Cake Equity's global partnerships team and is one of the original Cake team members. Heavily involved in the Gold Coast tech and innovation scene and with startup ecosystems across Australia, APC, and the USA, Cal will share insights into the Gold Coast's position globally as an innovation hub. As well as his ‘day job’ Cal and his family embrace the Gold Coast Lifestyle…he’s a keen surfer and completed the Coast High 50 km ultra trail run last September.
