Wendi Wilkes

Wendi Wilkes is the Director of Infrastructure Implementation in EPA’s Office of Water. She leads the EPA's water infrastructure investment work, including the $50 billion Bipartisan Infrastructure Law funding, and the EPA Water Technical Assistance programs. Wendi is pivotal in advancing water investment initiatives, ensuring efficient infrastructure development, and environmental stewardship in an ongoing pursuit of a healthier, more sustainable future. Prior to joining EPA, Wendi worked for the Association of State Drinking Water Administrators, the American Water Works Association, and the Texas Commission on Environment Quality. Wendi has a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s degree in Public Management at Johns Hopkins University.
