Tracy Maddux

Tracy Maddux formerly served as CEO of AVL Digital Group, which included CD Baby, AdRev and DashGo. Tracy initially joined CD Baby in 2010 and led it through a period of rapid growth as it became a global leader in independent music distribution. In 2019, AVL was sold to Downtown Music Holdings, where Maddux served as Chief Commercial Officer from 2020 through 2023, driving Downtown’s commercial licensing efforts as well as leading Downtown’s acquisition practice, which included the additions of Fuga, Found.ee, and Curve Royalty Systems. Tracy initially joined CD Baby in 2010 and led it through a period of rapid growth as it became a global leader in independent music distribution. Tracy holds an MBA from Indiana University and a BA from The University of Texas at Austin.
