Bryan Braunlich

The Cinema Foundation

Braunlich is a seasoned non-profit executive who believes in deepening relationships and support through creative and inclusive programming, events, and storytelling. He serves as Executive Director of The Cinema Foundation with a mission to strengthen the cinema industry and engage moviegoing audiences around the country.

At the Cinema Foundation, Braunlich provides strategic leadership over The Foundation’s programming, including National Cinema Day and other promotions, while spearheading vital data and research for the theatrical State of the Industry Report. He highlights education and community involvement to promote the cinematic experience.

Braunlich was previously the Executive Director of the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra in West Virginia. Prior to that role, he held positions in non-profit and performing art organizations across the US, including Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company in Washington D.C.,and Theatre Party Associates in New York City. Braunlich holds a BA from California State University, Fullerton with additional courses at The Juilliard School in New York City. He enjoys exploring the intersection of artistic disciplines, including film, music, art, and theatre, and how that plays in building the cultural fabric of our communities.
