Kamryn Kobal

As a Texas native, I started my journey at The University of Texas in the live music capitol, Austin, TX, where I got my start in management with my first job at C3 Management. Around this time, I started my gig as an A&R consultant for Elektra Music Group - loving how the two roles allowed me to upstream talent to a major labor but also dive into the intricate world of artists as a manager. Balancing university work and figuring out the music industry, as a whole, after being at C3 Management for over a year, Jack Gallagher and I left the company to start our own company - Open Management. Our roster includes a handful of bands including Mt. Joy, Adam Melchor, Sun Room, Mipso, Susannah Joffe as well as a writer/producer Caleb Nelson + more. I fell in love with music at a young age through the community that it creates among listeners, especially between young women, and I feel so lucky that I get to spend my days working on some of my favorite artists' projects.
