Michelle Stansbury

Michelle Stansbury has been with Houston Methodist since July 1993. Her current position is Vice President of Innovation and Information Technology Applications. During her 30 years at Houston Methodist, she has had many accomplishments. In 2016, Houston Methodist started deployment of Epic to the health system and in 2018 established the Center for Innovation. Houston Methodist received the highest adoption score of Epic functionalities of any new Epic client and the hospitals saw higher operating activity and greater revenue after the deployment of Epic. Her strength is in developing strategy and leading teams to drive those strategic initiatives. Before joining Houston Methodist, Michelle held leadership roles at Compaq Computer Corporation and Amoco Oil.
