Mayola Charles is a visionary leader committed to making a positive impact on the world by bridging art and activism. With a graduate degree in International Affairs from The New School, Mayola's journey began with a passion for understanding the world and its complexities. As the daughter of Haitian immigrants, she was raised with a deep immersion in global affairs.

Currently, as the Social Impact Lead for Global Creator Partnerships at Meta, Mayola leverages technology and influential platforms to drive cultural and community progress. She collaborates with public figures, creators, entertainment media publishers, and social enterprises to develop on-platform initiatives focused on social impact and equity. Her efforts include issue-based campaigns that raise awareness and promote positive change. To date, shes's helped fundraise over $1M for nonprofits across Instagram and Facebook via public figure-led campaigns.

Mayola's career spans nearly a decade at the intersection of social impact and entertainment. Notably, she supported the launch of Giving Tuesday in 2012 at the 92nd Street Y, and co-led the strategic development and execution of artist-led criminal justice campaigns involving influential figures like John Legend and Common. Her previous experience at Participant Media further honed her expertise in impact campaigns, working on Academy Award-winning films and series A FANTASTIC WOMAN and WHEN THEY SEE US. Driven by a commitment to equity and social change, Mayola continues to shine a light on important issues. Through her work, Mayola is committed to equity and using the power of art and activism to amplify voices that need to be heard.
