Burcu Eryilmaz

Burcu Eryilmaz was appointed as the Global Franchise Head, Rare Diseases at Sanofi in June 2023. In this capacity, she will serve as a member of the Sanofi Specialty Care Executive Team with responsibility for the company’s Rare Disease therapies globally. Prior to this role, Burcu was the Global Head, Rare Nephrology and Venglustat for almost three years focusing on Sanofi’s Fabry portfolio with Fabrazyme® and venglustat – a small molecule currently in development for Gaucher Disease Type 3, GM2 and Fabry Disease. Burcu joined Sanofi in 2018 as Head, US Business Operations and led critical business functions such as Forecasting & Analytics, Market Research, Commercial Training, Commercial Operations, Launch Excellence, Data Management and Data Privacy.
