Musician
The Living Pins

Carrie’s band, Sixteen Deluxe, recorded for Butthole Surfers drummer King Coffey's Trance Syndicate label in 1994. Following a major label feeding frenzy, they issued an album on Warner Bros. Records, followed by others on indie labels. Sixteen Deluxe disbanded in 2000, re-forming in 2010. In 2012, Sixteen Deluxe were inducted into the Austin Chronicle's Austin Music Hall of Fame. They currently record and play live as the mood strikes them. The Living Pins started as a 90’s side project that almost faded away, but in the fall of 2020, Carrie and co-Pin, Pam Peltz, released an EP- the first among several DIY self-releases. Early WTF moments included Kim Deal joining them on stage to sing “Pacer.” Current WTF moment includes meeting Duran Duran (counting Simon LeBon as a fan of theirs)!
