Julie Garland

Julie Garland is the Founder and CEO of Avtrain, a drone training and consultancy firm. Julie has a diverse background as a former Airline Training Captain, Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, Barrister at Law, and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Julie is the Vice-Chair of the Unmanned Aircraft Association of Ireland, sits on the Board of Directors of JEDA, and is the JEDA representative on JARUS. She's also on the Board of Advisors for the Estonian Aviation Academy and a Royal Aeronautical Society Mentor. Julie has been the recipient of many awards and accolades including being listed in the 2023 eVTOL Insights Powerbook and winning Airwards Training & Certification organization and was featured on Jo Moses podcast, Formidable Females of Future Flight.
