Dr. Imani Brown

Dr. Imani Brown is an urban policy, planning and economic development professional with more than 25 years’ experience in the areas of public policy, sustainable urban land use, government relations, contracts and small business development. She currently serves as the Social Equity Program Director for the City of Los Angeles’ Department of Cannabis Regulation. Her Social Equity Program focuses on Business, Licensing, Compliance and Technical Assistance, Financial Grants, Pro Bono & Low Bono Legal Services and equity-centered policy reform that assists Social Equity Individual Applicants, Licensees, and Operators in Los Angeles.
