I specialize in large language models, computer vision, and NLP, and have been pivotal in developing and deploying the first use of generative AI in any emergency department. With 18 years in ER and a robust data science background, I collaborate with industry powerhouses like Augmedix, HCA, Google, and Envision Healthcare. I currently serve on Augmedix's AI Advisory Council and act as the lead emergency physician for HCA's enterprise-wide implementation of Meditech Expanse—a role that impacts millions of emergency visits annually. Additionally, I'm the Chair of the Emergency Medicine Department at the University of Central Florida Lake Nona Hospital, Vice Chairman of the Board at Lake Monroe Hospital, and an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Central Florida.
