Kat Downs Mulder is an award-winning digital news leader who has led multidisciplinary teams including product, editorial and business. As SVP and General Manager of Yahoo News, Downs Mulder oversees global products, editorial and strategy, including the Yahoo homepage, news, entertainment and lifestyle content. Downs Mulder joined Yahoo after 14 years at The Washington Post where she was most recently Chief Product Officer and Managing Editor, bridging newsroom and engineering and driving a strategy aimed at accelerating digital innovation across the company. Previously she was The Post’s first-ever Vice President of Product & Design.
