Reena Jana

Reena’s team focuses on scaling and sharing best practices for the ethical AI
development and human-centered UX for AI. She sits on Google’s central AI
Principles review body for the responsible development of new AI applications. She’s
also the Editor in Chief of Google’s People + AI Research initiative.
The former Innovation Editor at Businessweek, Reena has also held marketing and
UX positions at IBM’s Design Lab. Before her current role, Reena was Google’s
Creative Lead for Business Inclusion, serving on the team that won a 2022 Innovation
By Design award from Fast Company for launching Google’s Digital Coaches
program.
For fun, Reena recently earned her black belt in mixed martial arts and is the
President of the Board of Directors of the non-profit Asian American Arts Alliance.
