Benoît Blanchard

Born in Paris (France). After arts studies in Italy and Germany, he worked for film production for almost ten years (documentary, live, animation). Currently expert for Europe Creative, he is a former consultant for film organisations like CNC, César, Region of Brittany. Former officer in charge of short programs and new medias for Unifrance (2014-2018) and audiovisual attaché in the French embassy in Rome (Italy) and Director of Rendez-vous film festival (2019-2022), he is a member of The French Academy of Cinema Arts and Techniques and of the European Film Academy. Since January 2023, he is Head of Market Projects for Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
