Lena McDowall

Lena has been with the National Park Service for more than 18 years and named Deputy Director of Management and Administration in 2016. In this position, she oversees mission support functions for the NPS, including Budget and Finance, Contracting, Concessions, Fees, HR, Learning and Development, and IT. She previously served as the CFO and as the Associate Director for Business Services for the bureau. Prior to this, Lena managed the concessions program as Deputy Chief for Business and Revenue Management at Yosemite National Park. Between 2006 and 2010, she served as program manager for the NPS Business Management Group in the NPS Office of the Comptroller. Between 2004 and 2006, Lena was Chief of Administration and Business Management at San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park.
