Marcel Alexander Wiebenga

Marcel A. Wiebenga, born in Rotterdam in 1978, left a modest imprint in music as a drummer for both Oil and Das Oath, extensively touring Europe, the US, and Japan and releasing records on labels like Three One G, Dim Mak, and Gold Standard Laboratories.

Post-2008, Marcel joined Sizzer Amsterdam, transforming it from a small team into a renowned music-for-advertising agency, working with clients like Mercedes and Heineken, overseeing over 1000 projects, and winning countless awards and speaking at global industry events.

In 2021, he co-founded the music agency Howl and Ringo, an AI-driven music licensing platform that makes sync licensing safe, simple and stress-free. Marcel writes a bi-weekly newsletter on music, tech, and culture, enjoys kickboxing, and supports Feyenoord Rotterdam.
