Searit Kahsay Huluf

Searit Huluf was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She studied at UCLA’s Theater, Film and Television school, concentrating on screenwriting and animation. After graduating, Searit moved to the Bay Area and began working in Production Management at Pixar Animation Studios. Since her time at Pixar, Searit has worked as a Production Coordinator on “Incredibles 2” and “Turning Red,” as well as some of Pixar’s SparkShorts films. She has also directed numerous short narrative and documentary films, such as buna, GAMERS, Exploring Blackness, and 19th Amendment Doc. She most recently directed Pixar’s upcoming SparkShort “Self,” set to release on Disney+ on February 2, 2024.
