Desmond A. Wiggan Jr.

Desmond Wiggan Jr. is an Entrepreneur, Business Strategist, and a Global Citizen molded by culture yet motivated by legacy. He is a transformative leader who is compassionate about providing thoughtful solutions en masse. Mr. Wiggan graduated from Winston-Salem State University, earning his Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Upon leaving undergrad, Desmond embarked on a budding Sales Career with PepsiCo. Eventually, Desmond studied for two years in China, obtaining his MBA in International Business from Fort Hays State University. 

Desmond has worked locally and internationally, developing organizations that empower innovation and financial literacy in underserved populations. He has technology, manufacturing, business development, and international organizational management expertise. He is the Founder & CEO of BatteryXchange Inc., whose motto is to “Live Life Charged.” BatteryXchange (BXE), referred to as a “game changer,” is the premier on-demand mobile charging solution for consumers. Through BatteryXchange and its team, Desmond is building an ecosystem of connected technologies to increase connectivity between people, businesses, and communities. 

Desmond has been featured on the cover of Cassius Life Digital Magazine and spotlighted on AfroTech’s website as one of the “10 Groundbreaking Black Startups founded by HBCU Grads.” On countless occasions, Mr. Wiggan has been featured on podcasts and blogs and was selected as a top 3 finalist for Black Men Ventures Pitch at Investfest 2022, where he took home 1st Place.
