Jashima is a Punjabi-new Yorker and founder of Ode, a marketing and artist management agency specializing in South Asian artists, brands and audiences. Jashima built Ode’s ethos to emphasis intentionality and inclusion. She takes a “lived experience meets data,” approach to equitable marketing, artist management and global music strategy.

Ode was most recently named one of 12 BIPOC artist management agency’s to watch by Business Insider and currently boasts a roster of artists, content creators producers, composers, lyricists and instrumentalists of South Asian and MENA background.

Jashima’s talent roster has worked with Universal Music Canda, Mass Appeal, Audiomack, Netflix, Tunecore, Amazon, Spotify, VEVO, Lincoln Center, Meta, Applaus, Kulture Khazana, 5XFest, DesiFest and many more on both the talent representation and brand strategy side.

Prior to launching her agency, Jashima built & scaled the largest South Asian diaspora digital publication, BrownGirlMagazine.com’s music division, covering 350+ South Asian artists around the world, produced 30+ events, developed a music and arts scholarship with South Asian Youth Action and co-produced a South Asian lineup at Central Park’s Summerstage.
