Harvey Cohen

As President of Vibee, Harvey Cohen oversees a business that combines two of his greatest passions - live music and travel. Harvey was Co-Founder and Managing Director of Union Events, which grew to become one of the 50 largest promoters in the world prior to being acquired by Live Nation in 2016. Harvey brought music to every corner of Canada, before his company expanded to the US, along with sojourns into Europe and as far east as Vietnam. The endless desire to expand the reach of his business also enabled Harvey to travel the globe, reinforcing to him that music knows no borders.

As Co-Founder of boutique ticketing company Prime Box Office, Harvey utilized his extensive experience and industry relationships to allow the company to quickly grow to become one of the region’s leading ticketing providers. PBO was acquired by industry leader TIcketfly, who were later acquired by Pandora for $480mm. Prior to the sale, Harvey learned an immense amount about the behind-the-scenes challenges associated with high volume event ticketing and utilizes that knowledge to assist in his current business.

It is no surprise that his career path inevitably led him to leading a team that operates with a blank slate when it comes to where an event might take place. Whether it’s on a mountain in Aspen, a beach in The Bahamas, or a cruise ship in the Caribbean, Harvey and his team at Vibee work every day for one reason: to ensure that passionate fans are treated to a one-of-a-kind experience that will stay with them for life.

Always the consummate entrepreneur, Harvey has held numerous other industry interests including ownership in one of Canada’s largest event labour & security firms XA, award-winning event waste management company Green Event Services, and the Exodus Festival in Las Vegas. Harvey has also dabbled in movie production, including acting as Co-Executive Producer of Director Kevin Smith’s film Red State that went on to premiere at the famed Sundance Film Festival.
