Cabra is a Puerto Rican musician, composer, film scorer, multi-instrumentalist and producer, founder, and musical brain behind the globally successful urban alternative act Calle 13. He is a 28 times GRAMMY & Latin Grammy (combined)-winning music producer (two of them as producer of the year) who has worked with artists such as Calle 13, Rita Indiana, Jorge Drexler, Monsieur Periné, Vicente García, Louta, La Vida Boheme, Cuarteto de Nos, and many others.

Between 2020 and 2021 Cabra unveiled his facet as a soloist with his debut album called "CABRA" which includes the already released "La Cabra Jala Pal Monte", "La Ventana" and "Gris", along with "Lingote", "Un Belén” and “Quisiera Ser Un Meme " featuring his daughter Azul Cabra. In 2022 Eduardo released his second and last album as a soloist called “MARTÍNEZ” where he collaborated with artists such as De La Ghetto, Elsa y Elmar, Vicente García, among others. Both albums was released under his own label "La Casa del Sombrero" based in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

In 2021, the album CABRA was nominated for the Latin Grammy Awards as Best Alternative Music Album. Plus, in 2022, Cabra has been nominated for the Latin Grammy Awards as Producer of the Year for his work with Cuarteto de Nos, Hermes Croatto, Mima, Canina and Elsa y Elmar. In addition, he has been nominated for Album of the Year as he produced “Ya No Somos Los Mismos” by Elsa y Elmar. In 2023 Eduardo has been nominated to the Latin Grammy as Producer of the Year and Best Alternative Album with “MARTÍNEZ” y second solo album. With these recent nominations, Cabra added a 51 nomination record in his career (of which 7 have been as producer of the year) and has extended his record as the most-nominated artist/producer in Latin Grammy history.
