Garrett Lord

Garrett Lord is the co-founder and CEO of Handshake, the leading network for early career talent. Handshake’s mission is to democratize access to opportunity by enabling students and alumni to establish meaningful relationships--no connections, experience, or luck required. Garrett and his team help connect over 13 million students and young alumni--representing 1,400 universities, community colleges, and bootcamps-- with more than 850,000 employers, including all of the Fortune 500. He grew up in the Detroit area and attended Michigan Tech University before leaving in 2014 to build Handshake.
